We opened The Vogue…a Liquid Lounge on May 27^th, 2005. Our goal was to provide a place where everyone is welcome, a place that puts a big emphasis on customer service and an array of goods to meet your needs.  

We moved to Chelan full-time Valentine’s Day ’05. We had been visiting the area for a number of years, bought a vacation home and fell in love with the Valley. Our vision was to open a shop that could be a true “third-place” for all to enjoy. So, we retired, moved to Chelan and opened The Vogue…a Liquid Lounge. In addition to being our ticket to Chelan, our shop has been such a rewarding experience. We  don’t “go to work” rather we “go to play”, get to meet some fantastic folks, work side by side with the very best staff anyone could hope for and in general are getting to live our dream in beautiful Lake Chelan. 

Prior to moving to the area, Mike worked for a family owned and operated food brokerage in the Seattle area for 30 years, selling groceries to supermarkets. Janice taught pre-school for 18 years. You will see her fantastic ability in relating to kids in action at the shop as kids come through on a daily basis. 

We have two wonderful children, Jacob and Katie. Both are grown and on their way to great things in their respective careers. When visiting Chelan you may see them helping out around the shop. They are definitely our pride and joy!
